Rapha partners with renowned bike-makers to produce a limited run of four classics

I saw these on Cool Hunting the other day and I haven't been able to stop thinking about how sexy they are. These Rapha approved bikes are a limited-edition run available for the next two years. They have a commuter bike, Beloved Every Day, designed by Cycle Works Oregon and built by Chris King for $5,195. Racer XCR Criterium designed by Cinelli and Columbus Steel. This bike takes four months to build for €3,500. For distance, XS frame by Independent Fabrication. XS bikes take eight to ten weeks for completion and start at $6,795. The all-terrain bike Continental was dreamed up by select Rapha team members, Ira Ryan and Tony Pereira. The Continental will be produced twice a year in two batches of 50, $5,000 each and takes four months for completion. If you have an extra $5k or $6k lying around, buy one of these.

Aaron Horkey, I ♥ U

Artist Aaron Horkey created this beautiful TRUE GRIT promotional poster for MONDO.
I just saw a post on CoolHunting about Ballard Bee Company. I am a big fan of bees. I also a fan of Seattle. Corky Luster (awesome name) launched Ballard Bee two years ago. He has 60 onsite beehives at his Seattle home and plans to expand to 100 throughout his neighborhood. Love the simple product design as well. Go Corky!!!

Broken Social Scene | Houston 2.17.11

Broken Social Scene will come through Houston again this February. I haven't seen them in a few years, so I'm a little excited!!! When I looked over the Crystal Ballroom setlist (Portland 10.16.10), my heart sunk a little. They sang Superconnected with Modest Mouse "World at Large" lyrics :( Wish I could've been there! Hope they keep a similar set for the Houston show.
